Stacy Yule

Stacy Yule teaches at Roosevelt High School, in the District of Columbia Public Schools, where she has worked since August 2006. Her background features a master’s in education, from the George Washington University, Graduate School of Education and Human Development, and a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University’s College of Law, in Chicago, Illinois. With this unique background, she teaches history, government, and social studies classes at Roosevelt. Beyond classes, she helps students widen their awareness of government and community issues. She coaches debate at Roosevelt and will be traveling to Zambia Africa this summer with one of her students through a grant from the Center for International Education.  Through her own involvement in local political campaigns, she serves as an active role model for the students. Stacy has also taught basic skills in math, reading, writing, and vocabulary building to students at Roosevelt.
