Ms. San Miguel is pursuing her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration at
The George Washington University. She has a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology
from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the
University of Puerto Rico. Before joining Alcanzando Metas Mentoring
Program as a coordinator, she worked at the National Institutes of Health as a
Biologist for nine years and for U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as Patent Examiner.
Ms. San Miguel has been an Adjunct Faculty
at Northern Virginia Community College and has participated as a teacher for the
Hands-On-Science Program at Montgomery County, MD.
